How does mobile booking work?
Once your booking is confirmed, Anya travels to your home, hotel or venue with a full professional kit. You’ll just need a chair, good natural light near a window if possible, and a power outlet nearby.
What areas of Auckland do you cover?
Travel is free within 20km of the Auckland CBD. Bookings further out (including Waiheke Island, Rodney and outer Franklin) are welcome — a small travel fee applies and will be included in your quote.
How far in advance should I book, especially for weddings?
Wedding dates are best locked in 6–12 months ahead, particularly for peak season (October–April). Special occasion and photoshoot bookings can often be arranged with 1–2 weeks’ notice, subject to availability.
Do you require a deposit?
Wedding bookings require a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your date, with the balance due on the day. Non-bridal bookings can be confirmed with a smaller deposit or full payment on the day — details are in your quote.
Do you offer bridal trials?
Yes — a bridal trial is highly recommended and can be booked separately ahead of your wedding date. The trial cost is credited back to you if you book your wedding day makeup with Anya Beauty.
Can you do hair and makeup for a whole bridal party or group?
Absolutely. Group bookings for bridal parties, hens’ dos and school ball groups are one of the most popular services — get in touch with your numbers and timeline for a tailored schedule and quote.
What products do you use, and are they suitable for sensitive skin?
Professional, skin-friendly product lines suited to a wide range of skin tones and types are used for every booking, with strict hygiene practices between clients. Let Anya know about any allergies or sensitivities in advance so products can be patch-tested if needed.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer is preferred for deposits and final payment. Details are included with your written quote and booking confirmation.
